Aleister Crowley, Sovereign Individual

I’m too busy/lazy right now to do the research myself on this, but wanted to plant the seed for future usage by someone somewhere:

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

I’ve never read or even *heard* even the tiniest mention of what Aleister Crowley’s political beliefs and activities were. In retrospect, this seems like an important oversight.

[Human Search Request]:

(1) Is Thelema legally protected as a religion in any sovereign states? Where?
(2) If so, what practical civil rights and legal protections does that confer on an individual who is legally associated with that religion within the territorial possessions of said sovereign state?
(3) Can you find any decent short synopsis or summary of Crowley’s occult philosophy as applied to systems of government? Please list links.

Thanks! I promise I will make all of this stuff worth everyone’s while at some point by putting it into a good usable, and eventually working with people to solve these questions inside of a real legal framework interests me greatly.

    I like:

Should haemoglobin resist the attack of oxygen, the body would perish, and
the haemoglobin would not thereby save itself. For every individual in
the State must be perfect in his own function, with contentment,
respecting his own task as necessary and holy, not envious of
another’s. For so only mayst thou built up a free State, whose
directing will shall be singly directed to the welfare of all…[SNIP]… The absolute
rule of the State shall be a function of the absolute liberty of each
    individual will.
