   Papa Rockefeller was one of these carnies selling an oil based elixir. John D, his son, after amassing his oil etc etc etc fortunes (richest person ever in history per wikipedia) later commandered the health care industry (launching the AMA and getting their controlling interest in all things medical).

   Wonder if Papa hated his job and so his son ended the profession Eustace Mullins can gets a little carried away, eg calling John D “probably the most Satanic figure in American history”, but this has some interesting history on Rockefeller.
