[Free Business Idea] Mp3 To Cassette Tape Service
[PREDICTION] As television broadcasts convert all signals to digital in the US, a small up-surge of “old-school” technologists will not only reject HDTV and other digital technology campaigns, but will intentionally revert back to analog formats for nostalgic and other reasons.
{Free Business Idea}
>> Start a digital-to-analog conversion service for audio files.
[PROCESS] The customer would upload one or several mp3 files to a server. Mp3 files are downloaded to recording facility, where humans output mp3 audio to cassette recording devices. Very basic label printing services. Recording facility could ship directly to purchaser, or could drop-ship directly to custom mailing lists, etc, in more advanced stages. Further, recording queues could be divided amongst many small distributed recording facilities which could function more or less independently, with revenue being split automatically by work accomplished at each facility.
[ADVICE] Start small and keep your operation tightly focused. The name of your company should be something super simple like “MP3 TO TAPE” (or, “on tape”). In fact, both mp3totape.com and mp3ontape.com are available.
[MARKETING] You could pitch this as a “print on demand” (POD) audio service for retro technophiles and people who are tired of mp3s and CDs.
