Is it still possible…

…To make music today which would make people rip their clothes off and make irresponsible life decisions?

    Yes, I do believe so.

Isn’t that what all pop music marketed towards teens is about?

Unless of course, you have music where you value unripped clothes and dubs over making sound choices with your life and then it’s only the difference between ripping or not ripping your clothes.

I’m not talking about teens so much though: I’m talking about making grown-ass people cry and scream and act stupid!

go see a Fishbone live show and then tell me you aren’t feeling like rippin it up.
I am older than 30, and I still get blown away by that band on the regular.

alistair, c’mon man. update your musical scope. :)
Led Z could do that (make people go crazy) in the mid to early 70’s.
Man they were broke up by 1980, I was even too late for them.
The question is if music can STILL do it. Led Zep benefited from their time and place as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love Led Zep but there has been lots of fresh good music in the 30 + years since they were in their prime…
