Good Dog!

I’m starting a new part time job in about twenty minutes. A dog daycare place opened up a block away from my house, and I figured - hey, why not? Wish me luck.

You know, fine as anything. Just running around a room, throwing balls around, giving out treats, cleaning up piss and shit. Same as ever… Pretty standard stuff.

I’m not really sure it’s that kind of joint, but I’ll see what I can do. I was hoping, actually, I could play them some of my songs - but they have kind of a rigorous play schedule, so who knows…

You can get jobs doing that in Alaska for dog mushers. Little bit harder though. It pays room and board in exchange for working 12-to 18 hours feeding 50 to 200 sled dogs, (2X a day) picking up all their poo,(2X) running the second and third string teams, repairing tuglines and making dog booties and getting blamed for anything that goes wrong!

People do it though! Good way to learn mushing by jumping in head first I lasted a month.

BTW, where is my tape?!? :P
