Idea stolen sort of loosely from “The Brooke”: my latest foray into singin & pickin and me simply trying to “find my voice” - as they say. Suffice it to say, that I am still looking. This was also sort of a mental dry-run to prep myself for an open mic situation, although who knows if I will yammer as much in real life when I finally get up there and do it to it.
Possibly the best part of this concert is the cameo appearance from my landlord. Will our basement continue leaking? Find out next week, on The Big Elk Power Hour!*
*Condensed into approx. 45 minutes - the recording ended just before I got picked up to go to the grocery store and was not completed later on like I intended it to be. Also, while I was dubbing this from my 4-track to my computer it got screwed up and the file is now in two delicious parts.
