:) For some reason it doesn't seem strange that there's a Lolcat Bible now.

They’re not “junk” pop culture. Keep them around for medicinal purposes but they can be used for fun too.

word, sister! I couldn't agree more. 'kitty has reached critical mass', that's a classic.

one can argue all one wants about how many angels fit on the head of a pin, but when you are laughing at little kitties, you are experiencing the gnosis….

word to that, too.

the antidote is always smiles…..and little kitties

It's true, srsly. They gave my coworker the boosts she needed during her recovery from a head injury. All praises and glory to Ceiling Cat. One of the strangest and most "esoteric" experiences I've ever had involved Lolcats years before they were created. They're not "junk" pop culture. Keep them around for medicinal purposes but they can be used for fun too.

Brilliant observations. Don't even know what to add, but I recall reading some very similar sentiments in a Seth book years ago and it always stuck with me. Can't track down the exact one I'm thinking of, but it's a recurring theme in those books, so I found a couple related quotes:

"First of all, if you realize that the intellect itself is a part of nature, a part of the natural person, a part of magical processes, then you need not overstrain it, force it to feel isolated, or put it in a position where paranoid tendencies develop. It is itself supported, as your intuitions are, by life's magical processes. It is supported by the greater energy that gave you and the world birth. That power is working in the world, and in the world of politics, as it is in the world of nature, since you make that distinction." [source]

"The magical approach takes it for granted that the human being is a united creature, fulfilling purposes in nature even as the animals do, whether or not those puposes are understood. (pause.) The magical approach takes it for granted that each individual has a future, a fulfilling one, even though death may be tomorrow. The magical approach takes it for granted that the means for development are within each individual, and that fulfillment will happen naturally. Overall, that approach operates in your world. If it did not, there would be no world. If the worst was bound to happen, as scientists certainly think, even evolution, in their terms, would have been impossible." [source]

By the way, The Magical Approach is one of the most valuable books I've read. I read it at least once a year and it always benefits me greatly.

in some parallel universe somewhere al gore is being hoofed in the bag in perpetuity for being an out-and-out liar.

meanwhile back in this continuum.........

those who drive media are constantly putting up trial balloons to see which one`s we will adopt.

consumerism seems to be the only perennial favorite so far, though genocide, tribal warfare and carpet bombing have thier season too.

and science is just another religion after all, based on lies/tautologies that appear to be actual information.

scientists, much like weather-men and jehova`s witnesses, never see the big one coming or are just consistantly wrong.

and these are the cats who exploded the atom bomb anyway.....even thought some were really concerned that it might just ignite the atmosphere.

thrill-kill motherfuckers.
