I’ve been playing folk and Old Time music with a bunch of people (including two co-workers at the dog temple) on a regular basis here in Baltimore. “Freight Train” is one of the songs we jammed out on last Thursday night at the Copycat building. Over the weekend, I bought a big old book with over a thousand old folk songs in it, and it includes Cotten’s gem above. I also took a trip to some really old Maryland mills this weekend and took a couple pictures, which I’ll post when my friend sends them to me…
