Can’t believe I’ve never heard this song before:
From an article in the Guardian about the passing last year of Marcel Marceau, who I used to hear my mom talk about a little as a kid (she was also into puppets – and doll houses, still is):
Still, mime has a lot to answer for. Kate Bush’s leotardy wuthering. Charades. Mr Bean. The fact that you can’t promenade in seaside towns any more because of mobs of gormless punters staring at equally dead-eyed, unmoving “artistes”.
Mime is, in America, a fairly well-hated art form. I remember being in Montreal a few years ago with my brother and there were mimes all over the public square sorts of areas of that city and they were very aggressive. It’s something I was totally unprepared for as an American.

I’m still not sure if I totally dig Kate Bush or not, but this song is amazing!
…
Kinda a pointless comment, but it had to be said.
