Through no fault of my own, I have somehow landed a morning time-slot, 10:30am until noon to sing and play guitar at an “Art In The Park” event hosted here in Baltimore by the Mill Valley Cultural Arts Umbrella (they’re also playing my songs on their online radio station now!). I don’t know if they have a page up yet for the next event, but here is a link with info to their last one held earlier in April. Should be pretty fun and I’m looking forward to it, if not slightly nervous. But I’m sure it will be fine. I recorded 12 nice clean high quality takes of songs of mine with a friend of mine who has a fledgling multimedia company called MediaByrne. I’m going to start shopping that recording around to some other small local venues to put together shows and gain some solid experience performing before I hit the road and see where the wind takes me. Depending on how things pan out for this park performance, I may have some people come up and play with me on a few songs for some Old Time numbers: I’m hoping with some potential fiddle, banjo and harmonica accompaniment, but we’ll see what I’m able to put together.
