From the moment I met her at the record store
I fell in love like never before
She held my heart in a CD case
Before I knew it I made a mistake

A couple good songs that faded away
Another twenty dollars down the drain

But the girl I loved from the record store
Heard she don’t work there no more
Late last year they had to close
Some big chain store pushed em out

Now I buy my songs on the internet
Where there ain’t no pretty girl I haven’t met
Hunted down or poked somehow
Sendin one an email now

The first time I saw her on the internet
I knew she was one I wouldn’t forget
Took her out to dinner and bought her a steak
I thought I was doin pretty great

She looked so good I couldn’t wait
To get her back home and take off her clothes
And get her to pose for my website
We made .mov’s all night

When I woke up my computer was gone
Damned old witch she done me wrong
She’d even run off with my hard drive
With all my files and stuff inside

I looked around and found a note
When I read it I nearly choked
