This is the bio I wrote for myself during my stint at the College Light Opera Company in Falmouth, MA. It spent the summer proudly hanging underneath a headshot they took of me and posted with the rest of the tech crew. I’ll try and get that scanned and posted in the next few days as well.

Tim Boucher is an itinerant scholar and author, doing first-hand research for a book on living theatrical and performance traditions and their role in community development and personal transformation through history and across cultures. Previous to this, Tim has studied with the Humboldt and Free-Love Circuses of Arcata, CA and is currently living in Baltimore, MD.

I think probably the biggest thing I came away from this summer with relates directly to bios and headshots: a new self-image, a new idea of who I am, what I’m capable of and how it all fits together.
