		<description>Judging by the title of this post, you may have already read the book &lt;a&gt;The Memory Palace of Matteo Ricci &lt;/a&gt;, but if not, I highly recommend it.  It seems that back in the Renaissance, people used to do this augmented reality stuff entirely in their own heads.</description>
