Love these two items: first is a group of looks like twenty-somethings riding around on bikes across the state of Missouri, basically helping people they come across. They wear capes, have crazy names and call themselves super-heroes. They are “providing service to the public with no agenda, and no pre-established course or plans.” Next is a fellow by the name of Jim Fry, an electrician who is “on tour”, offering to help ecologically-minded communities become more sustainable through alternative energy projects. Both of these are great examples, I think, of positive direct action at work: action which has real, immediate and lasting effects on real people. Kudos, and thanks to Tom Campbell for the first link.
