I’ve still not solidified my housing situation. But I have, at this point, seen a few more places, a couple of which have been really cool with some good people in them. Got one or two more potentially to look at this afternoon. While anxious to get it all sorted out, the process itself I have been finding rather fun: just popping in at random strangers’ houses, all around my age or so, having people be very welcoming, making some small chit chat and finding out what they’re into and all about. It makes me wonder why we can’t just do that normally around town without having the pretense of looking for a place to live. Like if people just stopped in to visit with one another and chat. I know it’s not some kind of revolutionary idea, but I think things that are the simplest, the most basic, tend to be the most powerful in the long run.

Anyway, I hope to get this all sorted out within the next day or two. I’ve been literally having dreams about new pieces of writing I mean to put together. I feel like once I am good and settled in with a new apartment and my new jobs, I’ll be able to crank out some high quality material. Looking forward to it!
