I see the website Craigslist as being almost like a kind of proto-government of like a futuristic networked community, operating with identical effectiveness on all local and non-local levels. Sitting there, this repository of social offerings, goods and services. Almost like an internet automat. Get whatever you want out of it. Pay however you can afford. Loose contracts offered.
