I just think parallel realities sounds a little cooler, and opens up the verbal possibility of multi-use and overlap. Whereas reality isn’t really being “augmented” by having free-floating graphics in human.body-space: it’s really just a projection. That’s not reality at all. It’s supplemental to reality, but the image is still not the essence even if you do have lasers.
