Serious For-Real Business Idea

Cut me off a slice if you do this, but I think this idea may be ready for a prime-time web application. I’ll try to say this straight-forward first and then elaborate on it poetically.

Take an individual post-page of my website, driven by WordPress. Once the page is loaded into the browser, the content would start to sort of morph or melt around that, depending on what my settings were as a browser and what sorts of programming the domain being visited had in it.

So like, you have a company like Kontera: whose service I think isn’t very good, but who has a strong mark on a concept which will become more important as information becomes more “liberated”. I’m talking about Web 3.0 shit here… Dig this for a minute though: I initially was annoyed by the long load-times of their advertising “layer” which basically descends upon my existing information base. But what if you programmed in advertising which would morph content over time?

So first one layer of advertising would filter my base “raw” content layer, then another set to the tune of an entirely different algorithm would highlight (”perform”?) the same “work” according to a totally different set of information filtration principles. And the user could sort of cycle (almost spelled that “psycle”) between them, applying pre-made filters to any given information, customizing them and hacking them.

I realize I’m not being very straightforward in this description at all. I’m just trying to get more “jazz” or more “hard boogie” or more [WHATEVER] out of my computing experience.

Two other references I’m kind of tacking into the pre-perceptual response I’m kind of envisioning from using this thing in the future: the “bigspy” feature from digglabs, where information blips and decays out of importance in a time-based browsing method. The experience physically of using the interface would be most akin to information orchestration and conducting a myriad of instruments and agents, filtrations, running jokes and other odd algorithms.

So much for explaining it in a straightforward way.
