I was thinking the other day of how weird it would be to start a support group for “9/11 survivors”, something along the lines of Alcoholics Anonymous or similar. The sole purpose of it would be to get people together in a public space to talk about what actually happened on 9/11 and what has happened since. The point wouldn’t be to drive a particular agenda or reading of the event, but to offer the opportunity to talk about these things in an open accepting setting.
