My monthly earnings off this site have been slipping. This past month I made about two hundred dollars less than I was expecting. Having regular money coming in from this site motivates me to continue doing it. It’s not a ton of money, but it amounts to having a part time income coming in. I think of it as internet welfare or something, almost.

In any case, if you have the ability right now to spare any money, I’d really appreciate reader contributions via PayPal to help me cover the difference this month. Click here for a link to contribute to the cause.

Long term, I’m investigating alternate monetization strategies for this site and developing other avenues of automated revenue in other media to help supplement my lifestyle. I’m also open to the possibility of totally doing-away with advertising on this site, in favor of subscription support to help keep it going, but I’m not confident I could get that sort of thing to pay off in the way I’d need it to to balance out the time and effort I dedicate to this site. We’ll see how it goes. Gonna keep writing no matter what, but I just have to make sure I can stay afloat with what I’m doing.
