one’s true intentions are manifest around you, and all beings carry the marks of their pasts upon them appropriately.

in plato, the universe in considered just to the extent that one's true intentions are manifest around you, and all beings carry the marks of their pasts upon them appropriately. Basically no good deed is every truly lost or forgotten, and similarly no evil deed is either. In that sense, a just man is one who perceives the truth of the intentions of those around them and treats them accordingly. so you are really only able to be just to the extent that you understand those around you.
