My over-arching interest at the moment, I’d have to say, is universal communication as a paradigm, as a dream, as a reality. The notion that there is a universal language which facilitates understanding and playful and productive interaction between entities of all different types. Towards that end, I’ve been studying linguistics, semiotics, biology, animal behavior, music, story-telling, theatre and much more.
Of special interest right now is the notion of frequency ranges and their use and abuse: things like CB, Ham and other forms of amateur radio, and the possible interactions and intersections of those old-style communications technologies with more modern communications paradigms, as mediated by the web and cell phone technology. Who owns, protects, uses and distorts these various technologies - how and why? Especially interested in developing practical skills in electronics and electrical fields - with a focus in antique and obsolete technology, refurbished, rebuilt and bent towards other uses.
Also interested in “far-out” frequency ranges, extremely low and high spectrum and their history, as well as their use in modern non-lethal weapons technologies, the “targeted individual” subculture (people who claim that such weapons are being used against them by various governmental and other agencies), accidental and intentional effects of these technologies within the environment, ecosystems, with animals and other life forms. What about communications with extraterrestrials, nature spirits, ghosts and other entities “from beyond”? Communications with nascent AI’s and other electronic-based intelligences…
Wondering a lot too about vibrational resonance, energy patterns and systems, morphic fields, “seed words”, things like that. Can we influence reality through our speech alone? Magickal speech, religious chanting, prayer, psychedelics as methods of tuning in experientially to other frequency bands, the “weirding way”. Communication and collaboration between conscious and subconscious minds, between individual mind and collective oversoul, oracles, augury, divination, esoteric languages and symbol systems, secret codes, I Ching, shit like that.
My basic operating principle is that methods and technologies of universal communication - whatever they are - ought to be free, open source, public domain: in short, universal. Self-expression, self-actualization, community organizing, etc. Just trying to articulate my goals, interests and intentions in order to come one step closer to actualizing them…

I Ching Reading for tonight:

The answer is in your own first paragraph. It’s dreaming.
The key is to get into one another’s dreams.
Once humans have this ability, all fun is going to break loose.
I think I’ve gotten into other people’s dreams recently, which explains, now, when this one woman freaked out so when I swooped down out of the air I was flying in. In this dream, there were missiles and rockets… I saw a rocket thud down onto the ground like a giant’s peppermill.
It was horrifying until I realized it was a dream and I could fly. That woman must have been trapped in a nightmare, believing she was awake, and it was real. No wonder she was terrified.

Also:
Terrence McKenna certainly thought so. That’s what the experiment at La Chorrera was all about: using sound waves to integrate the psychedelic chemicals of the mushroom into humanity’s DNA worldwide. That sounds like a good way for getting into other people’s dreams to me.
Oh, and the I Ching came into it too, of course…
And then I go my merry way about the web and find this almost right away:

[...] How do I make the internet do my bidding? I need a browser and operating system which is wholly suited and dedicated to being a means for me to collect, store, organize and re-transmit and otherwise use reference points, chaining them together into a constant hypher-contextual interstitial interlingual lexeme memetic semiotic intuitive associative meshwork? The experience of using my web domain and information generated by it or associated with it should be a close analogue to the types of experience I tried to identify and demonstrate in my most recent podcast. The Mandala OS, the Kaleidoscope browser, multi-dimensional lenses made out of keywords which I can physically twist and manipulate to modulate my experiences of reality, and traverse microversal context nodes. The internet as a psychedelic weaponized drug that encourages people to live freer by example. An autonomous surrealist realogistic utopia wholly apart from and fully immersed in and interpenetrating all points in space, time, history and destiny. A method whereby I can use my website to do daily divinations, influence reality through properly phrasing associative ritual queries, and a communication interface for me to do that jointly with humans, informational and other types of entities, and it should grow, stronger, better, more useful and more profitable for all entities involved in the system of exchange. Please please pretty please amen, magic activate! [...]
