Was just looking at VirtualCantor.com for mp3s of Hebrew prayers to harvest into my perceptual matrix. Didn’t immediately see any, but did see something which caught my eye. Just a simple meter at the bottom of the page indicating that the operating expenses of the site were currently at a -$115 figure. Right next to it awaits a PayPal donate button.
I’m thinking you could take that one step farther and would love to partner with someone or with a non-profit creative corporate group to implement something like this in on my site: it would track my current operating expenses as a creative person freely sharing the fruits of their investigations and data. It would account for, manage and track online automated revenue streams like advertising systems, would act as a go-between with various financial institutions: a moveable bridge between PayPal account(s) and bank account(s). Or at the very least, it would indicate whether or not I, as an artist, “need more fuel.” To fuel me, you’d be able to make donations towards my operating expenses, and towards purchases of equipment or facilities for projects. Similarly, you’d also be able to donate equipment, facilities or lodging.
I would be able to set the system up so that anything I receive in excess of a certain amount would then automatically be re-shuffled around to various online causes, humans or other entities who I decide to donate my excess wealth to.

You should be able to do the same things with automated information streams: sets of data, music and images etc which are automatically being pulled towards you by pattern matching algorithms and your own ability to manipulate and re-broadcast those streams onto any frequency you want, allowing the producer/creator/transformer to monetize and license however they choose.
