[Web Divination] “Enthousiasmos” Pattern

Proper web divination or #SEO augury requires feedback loops and multiple searchers. In my recent associative post on news events surrounding the symbol memeplex of the Virgin Mary, I did a quick Wikipedia lookup of the term “enthousiasmos” because of the sentence uttered by the Chilean cardinal which included the phrase that Madonna’s performances “provokes a wild and lustful enthusiasm.” I even went back in and bolded that part of the text, stamping it with intent.

About an hour and a half later, I’m looking at my referral logs of what searches people did (mainly on Google) which landed them on my site. This appears at the top of the list:

Result links back to here, the post where I’m describing the PKD comic by R. Crumb where that term originally entered my awareness in the old-fashioned religious sense. Comes from the same root as “entheogen”:

1 En theos, the root of the Greek enthousiasmos is “to be inspired by a god” or “having a god within.” 2 Pagans have long believed that one can take in or ingest something of the substance of a god, and that that god thereby possesses or deeply affects her or him.

Clearly important enough to re-transmit that pattern>>

Oh, and Julia, ended up at a house last night friends had just moved into. The garage was full of clothes from the previous tenants, which people promptly tried on.
