This is the image I recently set as my desktop background. I like how beautiful and radiant the flames are, and how the deer are there just observing it, and bathing in what seems to be total peace amidst what we typically think of as chaos and destruction. The flames look like a sunrise.

    No wonder you like it. It is very fitting. The deer are very safe in that stream. Perhaps it is some kind of instinct on the part of the deer? But I see no beauty in the flames of the mountainside, as I do not see any beauty in the sunrise either — when you think of the surface of the sun. It is all very beautiful, I suppose, from 98 million miles away or caught in the middle of a stream. Aside from that, you’re carbonized quick. Thank god for the liquid H2O eh?
