So each would-be-leader gets to develop their own cult, and then they all fight?

Well once the cult is formed, they would all go off to the little colonialist island or whatever and compete as warlords against one another in ad hoc networks of shifting alliances, until the losers are kicked off the program and banished into media obscurity forever.

Cool. So the winner gets funding to start their very own cult, and in the next season, we get to watch all the way their eventual meltdown followed by the Jonestown-Waco-massacre/apocalypse moment?

If nothing else, the mass orgies would be fun to see on TV…
