#TECHXFER The Most Important Keyword You’ll Never Hear in 2009!

With so many people trying to save the world these days, we don’t just need #whatworks, we need open #techxfer treaties.

“Technology transfer is the process of sharing of skills, knowledge, technologies, methods of manufacturing, samples of manufacturing and facilities among governments and other institutions to ensure that scientific and technological developments are accessible to a wider range of users who can then further develop and exploit the technology into new products, processes, applications, materials or services. [...]

Many companies, universities and governmental organizations now have an “Office of Technology Transfer” (also known as “Tech Transfer” or “TechXfer”) dedicated to identifying research which has potential commercial interest and strategies for how to exploit it.”

In other words, if you have the technology to save the world and you’re not sharing it with everybody else freely and openly, then you’re being a dick. The way abundance works is that it creates MORE abundance. So give everything you’ll have and you’ll be given more than you could possibly imagine.

This works. After years of being an adequate tipper I began to tip a lot of money. I’ve had a really good year financially even though I owe more than I’d like to owe. Here’s a link for your collection.

And this is the writing that was inscribed: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, and PARSIN. This is the interpretation of the matter: MENE, God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; TEKEL, you have been weighed on the scales and found wanting; PERES, your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.

I found that link from a page that was on the Metafilter front page for only a few minutes until someone noted that it was a repeat. Good timing favors you today. I’m glad you could use it.
