If the loci of your perceiving center happens to be in a fully-interactive immersive hybrid augmented/virtual telepresence everyware application, I have my suspicions that synchronicities would become the norm rather than the exception. The entire system, necessarily, would become a coincidence. Everywhere you went, every object you passed would be speaking directly to you, or targeted to your demographic which it would automatically detect from biometrics and datawake scanning. Animism, hylozoism, panpsychism, schizophrenia. Everything is talking to you. Every object an entity, a microtransceiver. Within such a realm of existence, reality is organized according to related clusters instead of by the usual markers of time and space with which our nervous system has developed in tandem. The subconscious mind holds the tools we need to deal with information overload though as consumers, as re-transmitting prosumers.

when you put it that way it makes certain aspects of the internet seem like super cheesy mimicry of that kind of a system, with all the targeted ads and everything, but it’s like a shabby styrofoam joke version of this really profound thing.. like even the fact that it all occurs on these ridiculous screens and that we sit here pushing these buttons etc is funny to me.
