Last night, I did some really deep dreamwork, triggered by circumstances in my life and the mental and emotional energy surrounding them. Most everything which I dreamt last night has been lost upon the light of day except for a note I received from a “teacher” in my dream. I found the following handwritten on a piece of paper:
NEED ONLY
THEMSELVES
*
GET YOURSELF
READY
GO
And there were some arrows at the bottom of the paper pointing up, action lines indicating motion forward and through, presumably. Upon receiving this note and contemplating it, I then walked into a small circular chapel within a larger building. Pews were laid out in semi-circles around a central area. Two other young men waited in the chapel, chatting softly. My teacher, I knew, was in the adjoining hallway with a microphone. I knew what I was supposed to do in this place: wait, and pray.
