Although, wouldn't the American military just be able to interpret the road signs, since they're already in English? There is an interesting section in the Army navigation manual about interpreting foreign maps though...</description>

The hobo signs remind me of this stuff. I've never seen it interpreted though and I couldn't find a link that wasn't a panicky NWO site. (Not that there's anything wrong with panicky NWO sites.)
