Not sure what I think of angels, but wanted to continue my line of thought regarding stage techs… I imagine the two have something in common. That is, working behind the scenes to make things happen within the visible or experiential world. If they’re operating as they should, both are unseen, except for the effects they have. They drag a set piece out on stage when it’s needed or shepherd together two or more actors as needed to make certain a particular event occurs more or less when it should. I’ve often seen such things occur in my life, people or things popping up as needed, usually at the last second when it seems like the cue is about to be missed. I don’t know what that makes God, stage manager? Producer? We do have the “god-mic” and the “god-light“. Angelic hierarchies perhaps, having dominion over particular regions of activity, stage techs with different specialties.

computer code’s a lot like this too. the IT revolution is doing a good job of making a lot of people aware of this, even if they don’t necessarily take an active role in it…
