How can you tell if something is of mystic significance?

A quote clipped from a comment about mystic signs, visions, omens and portents via reader Justin Hager:

“…it would be rather foolish of me not to think of this having a mystical signature.”

Which leads me to my main topic of discussion? When you see or experience something you take to be of specific of vague mystical importance, what are the usual signs? How do you know its something special versus just your ordinary typical B.S.?

    A few indicators:

    1. Something that is completely out-of-place with its surroundings and seems to appear without any cause or source. If you find a book on your shelf that you didn’t put there and that no one else who lives in your residence can account for, maybe you should read it.

    2. Something that has importance within your current pantheon/worldview/working. If you’re dealing with Eris, and you walk by a building with a golden apple painted in the window then maybe you should pay attention.

    3. When chance helps further your goals, this can also be a sign from the reality matrix that you are on the right track in a Daoish way.

    Generally cathartic or mind-blowing.

But what makes that particularly mystical or magical or whatever?

After a while you develop your own inner iconography. You get your mindscape plotted out or maybe I should say “soulscape”

You have experienced being in the presence of God enough times to know when it is happening.
