Terrestrial Radio Stations Censoring “Satellite” Mentions

I’ve not actually heard this song by the Black Eyed Peas on any radio stations myself, but allegedly regular “terrestrial” radio stations are (or were) actively censoring the word “satellite” from the phrase “satellite radio” mentioned in the song “Boom Boom Pow”. Has anyone heard this ‘IRL’ who can verify that this non-swear-word censorship is really and truly occurring?

    it smells fishy to me… arent most radio stations on the ground owned by clear channel now anyway? and how could abandon the notion of competition over something as important as broadcast rights from satellites to the denizens of the earth below? there ought to be options, and their mere mention ought not to be obliterated from the public consciousness thanks to some special ethno-geo-linguistic filtration features…
