by Tim BoucherA man named Terry Watkins from Dial-the-Truth Ministries has inadvertently done the world of occult tattoos a great service. As a god-fearing Christian, he put together a wonderful collection of articles about the evils of tattooing, "from a Christian perspective" of course.
My favorite of all of these though is "Tattoo: Cup of the Devil." I have never in my entire life encountered anything so ardently against a topic, taking it so far that it actually ends up unwittingly glorifying this very same thing. It's a masterpiece against itself, really.
The whole thing reads like a manual for occultists, pagans, magicians, or just people with open minds who are interested in historical cultural traditions of tattooing. It elucidates in vivid detail how tattoos and tattooing can be powerful cultural expressions, and can initiate important personal transformations.
I really recommend reading the article, if for no other reason than to watch this author's blood boil in impotent fury as he decries something that he doesn't even truly understand the ramifications of. Aside from that, I have never seen a better collection of quotes about occult tattoos, and magical practices surrounding the ancient ritual of tattooing.
